Idea for a web site: colourlovers except with words. Maintain a collection of phrases or words that are important to you - keep up-to-date on new popular related words (movies -> “gran torino”, beijing -> “spring festival”).
Also see new popular links related to your words set, see people with similar words, twitter conversations related to your words, tagged photos/videos, etc.
